Scrub for combination skin

Do you have combination to oily skin? Use a smooth scrub. A grainy texture could aggress your epidermis and stimulate sebum production as a defense. A counter-productive action if you have imperfections! Choose very gentle textures, cream or gel, and non-comedogenic ingredients with purifying and soothing active ingredients

Scrub for acne-prone skin

Theexfoliatingaction helps acne-prone skin heal better. However, caution is essential. The use of over-powerful products can lead to an increase in sebum production and encourage the emergence of additional imperfections. For this reason, should be avoided in favor of the gentler action of a peeling mask. Peels can have a preventive and curative effect on acne-prone skin. Facial skin is cleansed of blackheads and other imperfections. It is also less oily and more radiant.

Scrub for sensitive skin

If you have sensitive skin, avoid harsh or aggressive scrubs at all costs. Choose gentle scrubs, based on organic clay, or a peeling. To avoid any risk of skin reaction, test your scrub with a small amount of scrubbing cream or gel on the side of your face. If the area affected by the product turns red, rinse with clean water and turn to other formulas.

Scrub for mature skin.

On mature skin, skin regeneration deteriorates over time and cell renewal slows down. To prevent the build-up of dead skin cells on the skin's surface, exfoliating care can be beneficial, provided it is not too frequent. When should you exfoliate?

Exfoliation is essential for beautiful skin, but you mustn't overdo it. What is the right frequency to avoid irritation

  • If your skin is normal or dryyou can apply a facial scrub once a week to keep your skin healthy and soft;

  • If you have combination or oily skin, you can increase the frequency of exfoliation, but do not exceed the limit of twice a week. Beyond that, you run the risk of aggressing your skin, which will secrete more sebum to protect itself;

  • If you have sensitive or mature skinprefer to exfoliate every two weeks.

We recommend exfoliating your face in the evening after cleansing. In fact, exfoliation facilitates the skin regeneration that takes place overnight. When you wake up in the morning, your skin will look brighter and healthier. If you prefer to use in the morning, opt for a gentle exfoliant that won't irritate the skin

How do I apply a facial scrub?

For exfoliation to be effective, you need to respect a certain order in the treatments you apply as part of your beauty routine. Exfoliation should always be done before applying certain products, such as Facial scruba lotion or moisturizer. This product complements and precedes your daily skin care routine

Last but not least, it's crucial to purchase cosmetics specifically designed for facial skinThey are finer-grained than products designed for exfoliating the rest of the body.

Scrub application

First and foremost ,thoroughly cleanse your face. Start by removing all traces of foundation and powder with a brush. Make-up remover and cleanser . Next, cleanse your face thoroughly with a gel or soap suited to your skin type. This step removes all impurities and dirt, making subsequent products more effective. Keep your facial skin slightly damp to facilitate application of the scrub

Then gently spread a dab of on your face. Massage gently in circular motions for one minute. Finally, rinsethoroughly with cold water, without rubbing. Unlike hot water, this allows pores to close more easily and dead cells to be completely eliminated.

Apply a facialtoner immediately after exfoliation. It also helps close pores, refreshes skin and leaves it radiant. Also, don't forget to nourish the skin with moisturizers such as a face cream and serum or an oilcarefully selected according to its type (dry, combination or oily).

Peeling application

Whether in cream or maskform, we recommend peeling in the evening, on perfectly cleansed skin, as this treatment makes the skin more sensitive to the sun. To perform the peel, apply the product and leave it on for around ten minutes.

At all costs, avoid sensitive areas of the face, such as around the eyes, and rinse off immediately in the event of prolonged heating or burning. Although the mask may cause a slight tingling sensation, it should never be painful.

Before applying moisturizers, it is essential torinse the skin thoroughly after the peel, to remove any excess product. The following day, if the weather is sunny, it is preferable to use a face cream and serum with a sun protection factor ofto prevent the appearance of spots. Furthermore, it is not advisable to apply the peel to sunburned skin, skin with pimples or any other form of wound.
