Do fragrances last all day ?
At Adopt Parfums, we offer long-lasting eau de parfum and eau de toilette fragrances. To intensify the scent, apply the perfume to pulse points such as your wrists, behind your ears or on your neck. Preparing your skin before application also improves the diffusion of the fragrance throughout the day. Are your products suitable for all skin types ?
At Adopt, our fragrances are tested on normal skin. Certain products specifically designed for sensitive skin are marked as such on their labels. If you have reactive skin or skin prone to allergies, we recommend that you test the product beforehand by applying a small amount to a limited area of skin before using it fully.
What type of alcohol is used in perfumes ?
At Adopt, we use vegetable alcohol derived from beetroot, which allows us to offer high-quality fragrances. This alcohol contains fewer chemicals, helping to preserve the fragrance and ensure it is effectively diffused on the skin. What's more, some of our fragrances are vegan. What are the recommended uses for your products ?
All our eaux de parfum are made with beet alcohol. As this active ingredient is photosensitising, it is strongly recommended that you avoid exposure to sunlight in order to prevent any skin reactions (pigmentation spots or melasma). Pregnant women should take extra care in this regard, as your skin is even more sensitive to UV rays during pregnancy.
