What type of alcohol is used in perfumes ?
At Adopt, we use vegetable alcohol derived from beetroot, which allows us to offer high-quality fragrances. What are the recommended uses for your products ?
All our eaux de parfum are made with beet alcohol. As this active ingredient is photosensitising, it is strongly recommended that you avoid exposure to sunlight in order to prevent any skin reactions (pigmentation spots or melasma). Pregnant women should take extra care in this regard, as your skin is even more sensitive to UV rays during pregnancy.
